Wind measurement and masts

The erection of one or more new wind power turbines are projects which take a long time and can incur considerable costs. To ensure in advance that favourable wind conditions prevail at the chosen location, accurate measurement of wind characteristics should be undertaken. This is now fast becoming a prerequisite demanded by financiers and investors.

To obtain reliable results, it is essential that wind measurement is conducted with meticulous care, at the right and sufficiently long period of time, and that the results are of the highest quality.

"First Class” IEC Standard approved equipment should be used to assure the quality of measurement data. Measurements are obtained from a mast specifically designed and erected for the purpose, but there are also possibilities to place and integrate measurement equipment into existing masts nearby.
